You will need a range of different materials and equipment to complete the course. I have listed what is required in the Pdf file for you to download (and print if you want). I have included some links to suppliers which you will find useful for getting the basics. You don't need everything that is there on list, many are optional. However, you might find having a good variety will be more fun!
