Welcome to Playful Marks for Creative Compositions — I’m so glad you’re here!

This online course is all about loosening up, getting curious, and discovering just how much magic can come from simple, playful marks. We’ll use acrylic paint alongside brushes and wonderfully ordinary household bits (yes, the good stuff like old cards, cardboard, bubble wrap and more) to make textures, patterns, and juicy surfaces you’ll want to keep exploring. Then I’ll guide you in picking out your favourite areas and turning them into three dynamic abstract compositions.

If you love experimenting, gathering ideas through making, and letting accidents lead the way, this course is made for you.

How does the course work?

All of the content (videos, lessons and and instructions) is available right now here in the student portal. I suggest that you work through the modules in order as the course has been structured to progress in this way. The beauty of undertaking a course like this is that you can work at your own pace and you can revisit lessons as many times as you wish.
